John Osborne Field

The new John Osborne Field was dedicated on Saturday, Jan. 26, 2013. The field is located directly across the street from the previous John Osborne Field and adjacent to the Hancock softball field. The new location is better suited to mitigate the Central Coast winds and features brand new irrigation, dugouts, and batting cages. The field also has all grass baselines, a more contemporary feature which will be easier to maintain than the traditional dirt. Funding for the new baseball field was made possible through bond Measure I, passed by the electorate in 2006 to support facility and technology improvements at Allan Hancock College.
